Rhombus: recording the album

In the autumn of 2019 we started working on the album Rhombus.
On September 30 and October 1 we recorded the basic tracks for ten new songs.
We worked at Exalto Studio’s in Haarlem, NL with house engineer Bart Wagemakers and I brought along my long time associate-engineer Tom Gelissen.
In the spring of 2020 my freelance activities were completely cancelled, due to the Corona-crisis. This gave me the time to work hard on the new album. Because of this the album has become rich and varied en I took the chance to dig deep on solo’s en production. I added lots of layers to the album – thanks to my Line6 Helix I got the opportunitiy to record silently at home.

Never waste a good crisis!
